While there are some complaints, most employees report that WLB is great.

In such a fast-paced environment, many roles are demanding and high stress. Part of the demand includes being responsive after work hours, making your time a bit “job-centric,” as a current employee put it. The time commitment can be significant.

“This is not a 9-5 job,” another employee said.

Just like any company that prioritizes ambition and hard work, Plaid can be demanding, but it seems like the company has overcome a lot of its growing pains.

"One won’t be expected to put in long hours, but the output and the impact is what matters and not the input," an employee wrote on Glassdoor.

On Blind, employee reviews of work-life balance are overwhelmingly positive with some even comparing it to LinkedIn, which is widely known for its rest and vest culture.

Overall, it seems that work-life balance was an initial struggle for a lot of Plaid employees, but now that the company is well established, it seems to have improved tremendously.
